How To Get A Business Visa To China

Before making a trip to China, you must apply for a visa. What procedure should I follow to make this request? What difference is there if you go to Hong Kong before coming to China? Apart apply yourself, are there other possibilities? 

In addition to a passport, you will need a business visa for mainland China. If your travel agency is not charging procedures for you, this course will guide you through the steps for obtaining the visa. 


Generally, you may use your business credit card if you like. The total elapsed time between downloading the application and its treatment is one week. 

Here is how to proceed: 
1. Download the application form to the visa on the website of the Chinese Embassy and fill. Make sure the words Affairs (F) visa. 
2. Attach a passport photo form. 
3. Attach a copy of information about your hotel and flight. 
4. Obtain a letter of invitation from a Chinese company permitted. 
5. Submit all documents to the Chinese Consulate nearest your place of residence. No appointment is necessary. Provide a stamped envelope with your address so that the documents will be returned by mail. 

Moreover, you can make it to the Consulate. You can pay an agent authorized to perform these steps for you using your visa card at your will, or request assistance from a travel agent. Then wait for your passport and new visa for a safe journey. 

If you go to Hong Kong before China, you can apply for your visa there. Get help in the hotel lobby. If you are going back and forth between China and Hong Kong, be sure to select "double entry" on your form. 

What you need is: 
1. A passport with at least 6 months validity and one blank visa page. 
2. A visa form duly completed. 
3. A passport photo glued or attached to the form. 
4. Proof of travel (round-trip tickets and reservations at the hotel). 
5. A letter of invitation from a company or an authorized Chinese organization. 
6. $ 130 for service charges.
